Bart Bash provisional results

The Burnham Sailing Clubs provisional results are now available on the Barts Bash website. Congratulations to Richard & Joy Taylor who won our race in their Buzz.

On the website you can see where you came against all the other sailors around the world. You can compare against others in the same boat and by your ability. One to mention would be young Steven Carty who is currently 12th in the Rookie category.

Thanks again to all those that took part

Work Party Saturday 18th October

There will be a work party on Saturday 18th October from around 9am.  The first job will be to recover the Flames and winterise the engines but there are plenty of other end of season jobs to do (weather permitting).

David McPherson will be coordinating the tasks so if you want a specific job he can be contacted on dmcpher2@ford.com

We do have lots of members so it would be nice to see some new faces at the work party!

Bart Bash results update

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped to run the Bart Bash event run at the BSC we had over thirty boats all starting  together of all abilities which was quite a sight. Our results were uploaded to Bart Bash results team on Sunday but due to the massive turnout for this event  the results are still being processed. With over 700 clubs taking part and over 17,000 sailors the task is huge and is taking a lot longer than the organisers had expected.

I will keep you posted
