HBSC Maylandsea Talk

We have been invited by the Harlow(Blackwater) SC in Maylandsea on 24th Feb at 19:30 Who are delighted to be welcoming Dick Holness from the East Coast Pilot website to talk about how the website came about and how it’s maintained, including all the useful pilotage notes which can be found there. As he’s coming a long way to join us, it would be great to have a good turn out for him.
If you’re unfamiliar with the website and it’s usefulness, here’s a link: http://www.eastcoastpilot.com/index.html

I am sure that most members are already aware that the pontoon suffered serious damage early yesterday morning in the high winds.

We would like to assure all members that we are taking all necessary steps to expedite appropriate repairs and modifications.

We will keep you updated.

I would like to say thanks to members and friends who helped out yesterday in making things secure, particularly to the guys from Rice and Coles, Mark Flynn for getting his rib muddy and Adrian Archer (who must have done the equivalent of 2 Maldon mud races).
